How to become AQA accredited:

How our process works:

We specialise in guiding your business through the process of becoming an AQA-approved learning centre. Below is the step-by-step process and how it will be carried out:

We start by developing and implementing tailored systems aligned with your business needs and AQA requirements,

including accreditation tracking systems, centre coordinator roles, student ID allocation, and lead facilitator assignments.

Based on your organisation’s requirements and selected units, we assist in the creation and setup of customised courses.
We provide recommendations for in-house training or staff development, such as Train the Trainer or PTTLS (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector), tailored to your specific needs.
To ensure practical experience, we conduct test and trial

sessions where trainers assess trainees through hands-on

shadowing experiences.

The process typically spans 12 months, involving unit creation, material delivery, certification submission, and awaiting centre approval from the AQA.

Stage:1 AQA Unit Award Scheme

The AQA Unit Award Scheme is a nationally accredited program. AQA Awards provide learners with the opportunity to formally recognise their achievements through certificates upon successful completion of short learning units. Designed to encourage learner confidence, engagement, and motivation, these awards serve as stepping stones for learners to enter employment or transition to full-time courses. While not formal qualifications, they play a crucial role in developing independent living skills.

Stage:2 Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)

EPQ is an A-level standard standalone qualification designed to extend and develop your students’ abilities beyond the A-level syllabus and prepare for university or their future career. It can be taken as an extension of other Level 3 qualifications or vocational qualifications

It is worth half an A-level (28 UCAS points)

• It is recognised by universities and employers nationwide

Many universities make lower A-level offers to students undertaking an EPQ.
